Why shoot film?
I grew up in the pre-digital age and fell in love with photography. Here I am, decades later and I’m still in love with film. I love the fact that it’s tangible. I love that the results aren’t immediate. I love the nostalgia of it. It’s a connection to the past, while creating images of the present.

For some reason, the film didn’t advance fully after this frame and it combined with the next frame creating an unintentional composite image. I really like the way the line of the Vivian Maier book and fence shadow line up. - One of those happy accidents!

This little drawing figure has become my fallback when I’m at a loss for something to shoot.

All images shot on Ilford Delta 400. There’s definitely noticeable grain here, but I like it. It’s not too distracting and the images are still sharp with nice tones.

‘Tiny Dancer’ is super!
Alicia, I really like the window light photograph. One never gets tired of seeing those!
